Meet with legislators and watch a floor session of the Maryland General Assembly!
Continental breakfast and boxed lunch will be provided.
When registering, please provide your current address and the address of your hometown if you are from MD. This will help in arranging meetings with legislators. In the individual meetings with legislators, participants will be asked to focus on the school’s advocacy message and share personal stories about their interest in pursuing a law career and their intended career goals.
Draft Schedule
6:45 a.m.
Registration at the Law School and bus departs to Annapolis.
8:00 a.m.
Briefing at Lowe House Office Building.
8:30-10:00 a.m.
Small group meetings or shadowing opportunities with legislators.
10:00 a.m.
Move to House and Senate Chambers to observe floor sessions. Students and alumni recognized during House and Senate sessions.
11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Continue small group meetings with legislators.
1:00 p.m.
Bus departs to Law School.
