Class of 2011 Gift — The Laura Black '88 Challenge
The Class of 2012 has an opportunity to make an unprecedented impact on generations of UM Carey Law students to come. By leaving a class gift, we will create our legacy for future classes of Maryland graduates to follow.
In 2008, 72 graduates participated in their class gift. The number 96 for the Class of 2009 and 108 for the Class of 2010. Our goal this year is to exceed both of those classes by reaching 110 participants -- to not just beat the 2010 number, but to create our legacy as one of the most successful classes ever.
The Challenge — Double Your Commitment
Laura Black '88, a member of the Law School's Board of Visitors, has issued a challenge. She will match every gift made by a member of the Class of 2012.
Through this challenge, the amount you give will automatically double, at no additional cost to you. Likewise, every dollar you pledge now—even if you spread your payments over five years*—will count fully towards our class gift.
